On October 4, the Honorary Consulate of the Hellenic Republic was opened in Kherson, which resumed its work after the full-scale invasion of the aggressor country of Russia.
The opening of the Consulate was attended by: Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration O. Prokudin and Head of Kherson City Military Administration R. Mrochko.
A ceremony of consecration of the premises was also held by the rector of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, priest A. Kalyta.
The joint meeting allowed the Kherson Oblast leadership and Mr. Pantelis Boumpouras to discuss the needs and problems faced by the residents of the region, learn more about the assistance needed, and lay a solid foundation for cooperation between the two organizations.
Mr. Pantelis Boumpouras noted that the people of Ukraine are doing their best in their struggle, but there is a huge problem – that the Ukrainian people exist alongside the Russian aggressor. Against the backdrop of the Ukrainian state, this is a disease that will take time to heal. All we can do to bring victory as soon as possible is to believe in God, donate and support our military.
