Today, the Honorary Consul of Greece in Kherson Pantelis Boumpouras, the Special Representative of Greece for Ukraine Spyridon Lambridis, the Consul General of Greece in Odesa Dimitrios Dokhtis met with representatives of city and regional administrations in Mykolaiv and Kherson.

The meetings focused on the needs of the cities and their residents, support for regional programmes in various fields, defence assistance and further fruitful cooperation.

During the meetings, it was agreed to send children whose parents were killed by Russian aggression or are in captivity to a camp in Greece for psychological rehabilitation.

“We are on the same side of history. Ukraine is Europe. Greece wants to prove that it can provide assistance not only with words but also with actions. That is why Greece joins Europe and America in providing as much help as possible to Ukraine,” – said Spyridon Lambridis.
